Teacher
My Past
I was born in England, and moved to Canada in 2002 with my family.
I graduated High school in 2007, and that’s when my ECE journey began.
I started working at a daycare in Esterhazy, where I took my first ECE course.
In 2010 I started at a new daycare as a preschool group teacher and furthered my education in the ECE field. From there my career grew and I became the director.
After my husband Nick and I had our first child, I moved back to the Esterhazy daycare as a part time ECE.
My Present
I am beyond excited for my continued journey with the Growing Tree Preschool, as this has been a dream of mine and I'm very fortunate for it to now be a reality. I have lots of exciting ideas to bring to GTP and I cant wait to share them with you!
As a busy mom of three, I am confident and hopeful my ideas and emergent curriculum will engage and interest all that come to play and learn in my classroom. I am a believer that the best way to learn is through play and following the child’s lead.
My Future
The future is new and exciting for my role as the teacher in GTP. I look forward to the opportunities that can be enjoyed and experienced together on this journey with my class. I will continue to grow and learn along side my students and their families.
I believe that preschool is an important step and milestone in your child’s early life. I’m excited to do my part in making a difference for your family, and introduce to your child to how fun learning truly is.

Hello everyone! I am so happy to be back in the classroom again this year. I am looking forward to getting to know all of your little's. ❤️ It is so wonderful to see the kids learning, exploring and making friends.
For those of you who don’t know me, I’m Kristen. I am an Educational Assistant and a mom of 2 very busy boys. I love music, quading and spending time with my family and learning new things.
I can’t wait to get to know all of you. Here is to a great year!🌈
Teacher Assistant
Hello Everyone! I’m Miranda Kitz! I am so excited to be part of the Growing Tree Family!
A little about me, I have been an Educational Assistant for the last 14 years. Before that I worked as an Early Childhood Educator, in two different daycares, and also a preschool teachers assistant in Langenburg. Currently I have my own business, Reset Rebalance Relax, which is different types of relaxation massage and I am the Teacher of Shooting Star Preschool in Churchbridge.
I love spending time with my family, going camping, walking, reading and many more activities!
I am so happy to be able to help your child grow at Growing Tree!
The Board of Directors
The board of directors is made up of the parents of the children attending the school. As outlined in the bylaws, the Co-operative is governed by a board of seven directors. Minimum of one third board members must be parents of 3 year olds.
The positions are: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Registrar, Publicity/Grants, and Fundraising. These are volunteer positions with no financial compensation. Our pre-school is run by the parents of the children within the pre-school.
Election of board members takes place at the annual AGM meeting. Nominations may be presented to the Secretary in writing or may be taken from the floor. If you wish to be a board member you must attend the annual AGM meeting and volunteer yourself to be nominated. Special exceptions considered based on enrollment and volunteer numbers.
